Publications

My interest in my immediate environment, its history, and its broader context has led to a fair number of diverse publications over the past few decades. I often try to find topics for my research about which little or nothing has been published. See attached publication list (pdf).

The Hoogendijk family from the area around the villages of Stormpolder, Capelle aan den IJssel and Ouderkerk aan den IJssel has been subject to quite some historical research, mostly executed by family-members. For different reasons they saw a reason to dig deep into the history of their ancestors. Luckily the different archives and private collections provided them with a lot of valuable information. It must be said that Christiaan Carel Johannes Lans (1917-2000) from The Hague was the one who laid a solid foundation for the Hoogendijk family-research. All above mentioned work has resulted in the following Hoogendijk-related publications:
